About the role
As an Inbound Customer Service Consultant in our Mortgage Operations team, you will work in partnership with the Bank and the Brokers to deliver an exceptional home loan experience for the customers and brokers. You will be proactively involved in following up home loan applications from lodgement through to settlement and act as an intermediary between Business Development Manager’s, Brokers and Internal Credit teams.

You will be required to manage client relationships and ensure the brokers are kept up to date with the progress of their loan. You will follow up internal departments and teams on outstanding information and supporting documents required. You will check on applications from submission to approval and complete file management and follow ups from lodgement to settlements.

We are looking for enthusiastic consultants who understand the importance of providing an outstanding customer experience. You will have a strong ability to build rapport and proactively resolve queries whilst providing a high level of service to each customer.

Calls will be inbound and you will have the opportunity to represent one of Australia's leading banks.

Approximately 35 paid hours per week
Fixed Term Contracts until the 31st August 2022 & Casual Contracts available
• Casual Pay Rate: $28.08 p/hr + super
• Fixed Term Pay Rate: $22.46 p/hr + super + leave entitlements (pro rata)

What we are looking for:
• Previous Customer Service experience from within hospitality, retail or call centre
• Passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience and an interest in Banking and Finance 
• Strong ability to build relationships and take ownership to understand and assist the customer
• Resilience and an ability to work under pressure
• Active listening skills with ability to empathise
• Sound judgement and decision making skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and data accuracy skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Intermediate computer and numerical skills
