About our role:
Startek is currently recruiting Faults and Emergencies Consultants to work with our Energy and Gas Distribution team. As a Faults and Emergencies Consultant you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of faults and emergency calls across our network. You will register and manage customer expectations around faults and emergency response times in line with Service Level Agreements.

  • Start Date: Thursday, 17th of June 2021
  • Work From Home Opportunity
  • Rotating Roster: 7 days availability between 6am to midnight + some Friday/Saturday overnight
  • 12 Month Fixed Contracts, with view to extension
  • Pay Rate: $23.09 per hour + Superannuation + Leave Entitlements (Pro Rata) + Penalty Rates
  • 35 paid hours per week

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working in a Faults or Helpdesk/Troubleshooting service role – advantageous
  • Previous experience within Utilities (Gas/Electricity) – advantageous
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to empathise with customers
  • Sound business judgement and decision making ability
  • Effective and appropriate communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment with the possibility of life threatening situations and difficult callers
  • Self motivation and a team player
  • Advanced computer and data entry skills
