About our role
Startek is currently recruiting for one of our existing leading Energy Distribution teams. As an Outbound Service Consultant, you will be responsible for contacting customers and advising them of planned outage works. You will provide a high level of customer service and confidently explain to their customers the reasons as to why these works are important to maintain the Electricity network.

You will be required to display empathy with customers and take action to resolve their enquiries and take ownership and follow through to ensure the customer’s enquiry is fulfilled. You will ensure that all advice provided to customers conforms to approved response guidelines and that you adhere to all documented processes and procedures.

Contact will be outbound and inbound calls and written correspondence and you will be required to document detailed notes of your conversations.

• Start Date: Thursday, 28th of May 2020
• Rotating Roster: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 8:00pm and Saturday, 10:00am to 5:00pm
Melbourne CBD location, close to public transport
Casual Contracts
• Casual Pay Rate: $26.93 p/hr + super
Approximately 35 paid hours per week

What we are looking for:
• Previous customer service experience from within the hospitality, retail or call centre industry will be advantageous
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service
• Sound business judgement and decision making ability
• Effective and appropriate communication skills, both written and oral
• Attention to detail, accuracy and strong data entry skills
• Ability to prioritise and time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Self-motivation and a team player
• Flexibility to shift focus and switch tasks to meet regulatory deadlines
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office
