About the role and responsibilities
Reporting to our Team Leader, you will be responsible for making inbound and outbound customer service and sales calls for this exciting campaign within Startek. You will be working for a leading event ticketing partner to the sports and live entertainment industry in Australia and New Zealand.

This role is all about speaking to people about venue and seating details for sought after arts/culture events.  Common conversations include making bookings for the AFL Finals, NRL Finals and concerts. You will also be responsible for resolving customer complaints as per concert refund policies. Customer interactions will be via inbound and outbound calls and some email work will be required.

Melbourne CBD Location, close to Public Transport
• Rotating Roster: Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
12 month fixed term contracts
35 paid hours per week
• Fixed Term Pay Rate: $21.54 p/hr + super + leave entitlements (pro rata)
10 Days paid classroom and 'on the job' style training
August, September and October are our busiest months – no leave can be granted

What we are looking for:
• Previous Customer Service experience from within hospitality, retail or call centre
• Demonstrated sales skills with an ability to work towards KPI's
• Excellent communication skills including active listening and ability to display empathy with the customer
• Ability to problem solve
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Accuracy and attention to detail
