About the role and responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for performing daily fund transfers and uploading direct debits and refunds. You will perform daily reporting and reversal of dishonored direct debit requests, BPAY or unpaid cheques.

In this role you will be required to, but not limited to:
• Liaise with the Operations team to ensure daily incidents arising from missing or unallocated payments are resolved.
• Prepare and post general ledger journals and cash management journals.
• Ensure daily reconciliation of general ledger and bank transactions.
• Ensure all weekly and monthly payment channels and allocation reports are produced on timely manner.
• Prepare monthly GST calculations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for external parties and handling financial queries.
• Assist and coordinate the annual control audits.
• Prepare annual revenue forecasts for external parties.
• Maintain appropriate record keeping and archiving of documentations.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
• A proven and effective track record in an Accounts Payable Officer or Accounts Receivable Officer role.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Commerce or Finance or a related discipline.
• An ability to analyse and communicate financial information.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Computer literacy-with a sound knowledge of accounting software - Epicor preferred.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
