About the role and responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the organisational property which is located in Melbourne CBD is well presented. You will ensure the property is always maintained to project the company image and logo and continually monitor the security facilities.

In this role you will be required to, but not limited to:
• Administer premises management by selecting new office space, liaising with architects and decorators, negotiating new property leases and rent reviews, developing and monitoring compliances
• Assist in the recommendation of properties for the organisation to both acquire and/or dispose
• Negotiate maintenance contracts, providing expenditure and performance data for management, planning premises usage
• Oversee the provision of reception facilities, general office space and storage and distribution facilities and also ensuring the effective provision and service of organisational voice communications facilities
• Ensure general administrative support as directed
• Liaise with relevant regulatory agencies, ensuring seamless business operations and ensuring all occupational health & safety requirements are fulfilled
• Assist with the preparation of annual capital budget and monitoring expenditure against budget
• Assist with in co-ordination of warden training, evacuation drills
• Available to be on-call 24/7

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally possess:
• A proven and effective track record in all facets of Facilities maintenance and management within a fast paced and agile environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Consulting and negotiation skills with strong business acumen  
• Strong administrative and procedural skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to show initiative and problem solve
